Cryptozoology- The study of unidentified species of animals.

Ufology- The study of UFOs.

People, I can't be the only person around these parts who believes (or wants to believe) in this stuff. Discuss your favorite unexplained phenomena. UFOs, Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, Mothman, The Flatwoods Monster (who is strangely popular in Japan) and the like are all welcome to discussion.

When I was growing up in Puerto Rico it wasn't uncommon to hear about La Chupacabra(literally, the goat sucker), an alien who roams tropical jungles and pastures and drains the blood of unsuspecting cattle. He was in the news a few times when I was living there. Sketches that people made of him showed him as a humanoid with porcupine spikes on his back.

There was a recent Fantastic Four one-shot which featured La Chupacabra as a monster created by the Mole Man.

I've been big into the Loch Ness Monster thing since I was a little kid. The "bloop" sound also fascinates me. That series of beef jerky commercials where hikers pester Sasquatch/Bigfoot sent me on an online research spree for hours.

Bravery is better than a faint heart for a man seeking to put his nose out of doors. My fate and the number of my days has already been decided.

I love the paranormal and such, I also love aliens and UFO theories - I truly do believe they are out there. Its a little known fact that I'm actually incredibly superstitious.

The "chupa-cabra" is also somewhat famous here in Brazil, but the most famous would be the "ET de Varginha", an ET that appeared in the city of Varginha and that had brown skin, large head and V-shaped feet. I remember some people saying that it had similarities to the chupa-cabra.

I don't believe in any of these stuff, I think most of them are made up by people who want to gain attention, although I do believe that there's life in space.

Since when was chupacabra an alien? I remember in all those horror books I read as a kid there was a story about the chupacabra. Although in that story the chupacabra like had wings and attacked this family driving along a wooded road in a car or something I forget.

Also what's with south america and ufo sightings? I guess the aliens all like to go down to Cancun for Spring Break?

And finally, OP you may be the only person around these parts who believes or wants to believe, but you're definitely not the only one on this continent. All those goddamn "could be real" "documentaries" that fill up so much time on channels like NGC and Discovery and all the itneresting channels, you know, when they're finished showing all the interesting shows late at night, are proof of that maxim.

Aliens and UFO's do exist. The reason why we can't detect them is because we're using the wrong type of scanners. Scientists that don't speak like Stephen Hawking or look like Albert Einstein have high probablility of being false when they say aliens don't exist.

Eastern Island heads (IE Moai heads) are idol worship for aliens. Konami figured this out a long time ago.
