On second thought it wouldn't be so great so rip via those utilities considering i'll get a blue screen.  I could use those however to check if i'm capturing all the frames.

Maybe try Japanese Grapholic or Susie?  I was apparently able to extract the M5 images some years ago but I can't seem to repeat the trick.

Then set a max width, too.  As is its terrible at 800 horizontal res, which is typical for window mode browsing. The two 100px bordeers on left and right are worthless and only show up becuase browsers try to equalize the width of all undefined widths.

I was thinking that the fluid div stretched it out way too much, especially on a 1680 x 1050 resolution.

1280x1024 @ 60Hz, not that it matters much. Tightly packed horizontal or diagonal lines cause flicker when scrolling.  This is true of all LCDs.

Probably has to do with his monitor's response time. A slow response time can really make the screen blurry.

Long story short, the hard disk on the host server became corrupted and as a result, there was a lot of downtime and everything was reverted to a backup from Monday.  The site's finally back up now.

Good news folks.  The fella in Germany who has owned sogna.info for many years allowed his registration to lapse and I've picked it up as an alias to sognadigitalmuseum.com. So if you're tired of typing the long address, you can use the short one now instead.*
